3 ways to always have something to look forward to

  1. Tap into more of you

There is something incredibly beautiful about a person who has learnt to love themselves despite their irritating quirks and imperfection.

If we spend our lives waiting for someone else to make the plans, we will spend our lives chasing someone else’s dream. Get to know YOU – in all your splendor, mess and beauty. Tap into what it is that makes you, YOU. One way to do this is to do a quick personality test (Google Myers Brigg’s – this is a great quick test to find out more about who you are).

Knowing who you are will free you up to be true to that person and help you escape thoughts like ‘I wish I wasn’t the kind of person who wanted to…”

  1. Make a list of what makes you happy

Knowing who you are is one thing, but one step further is tapping into what makes you feel most alive.. And then creating a life that includes just that!!

“What is life, if we spend it saving our true pleasures for holidays and summer breaks??”

A good place to start here is to create a list of things that make you want to jump out of bed in the morning. Then, schedule a few of these items/activities into the weeks/months ahead.

  1. Dream & become

Finally, a truly inspiring activity that is SO worth spending time on is creating a vision board. Simply put, this is a word document/ collage of all that you want your future to look like. By sticking this up somewhere accessible, you are 90% more likely to live a life that look’s like the very vision you had for it.

Have fun with this beautiful. This is YOUR life – go make it count!!
